Elvington Race Track
Elvington Race track is another that is on an RAF base and uses the runway for the circuit which makes it a great circuit to drive fast at but also a very safe one and great for beginners too as it has large run off areas.
The Elvington circuit length can be changed, the "Experience" circuit is 1 mile long while the "Full Circuit" is 2.5 - 3.5 miles long. One of the benefits of Elvington is that if you do get things "wrong" then there is a large run off area before you even reach the grassy area.
Elvington has one of the largest set of cars available for driving experiences which includes Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Caterhams, Audi R8, Ariel Atoms etc.
Elvington Race Circuit is famous for being the location that Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond had his crash in a jet powered car back in 2006.
