Goodwood motor circuit is one of the most well known motorsport venues, mainly for it’s annual Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival events.
The Goodwood Race Circuit is a 2.4 miles long and has had drivers such as Sterling Moss, Hawthorn and Fangio driving it’s circuit.
Goodwood has a range of different driving experiences on offer from classic cars such as an AC Cobra or a Jaguar E-Type to Ferraris and Formula Ford F2000 single seater race cars.
Spectators at Goodwood have a range of great viewing positions to watch any motor racing or track driving experience days taking place.
Goodwood Motor Circuit had it’s first motor race in 1948 and it’s last one in 1966 when the owners of the track didn’t want to make alterations to it to try and control the speed of newer faster racing cars.
In 1998 the Goodwood Festival of Speed hill climb saw the return of racing to Goodwood and it is a well known and popular annual event that allows spectators to watch historic motor racing vehicles.
The Goodwood Revival is a 3 day motor racing event that has racing cars and bikes that would of raced at the circuit in the years 1948-1966 when it was running motorsport events.
