A free driving day at Silverstone race circuit is available to driver aged 55 or above or who have over 30 years driving under their belt.
The event has been organised by the Casualty Reduction Partnership and is funded by the Rightracks project.
What it entails is a half day course at Silverstone race circuit that will allow the participants to drive on skid pans and try out ABS braking in a safe controlled environment. There will also be doctors and opticians present to check over the drivers and the Regional Driving Assessment Centre will also be there to help answer any questions and offer up advice to those taking part.
The available time slots are: 9.30am-12.30pm or 1.30pm-4.30pm and it will take place on Tuesday 13th April 2010.
