Brief Circuit information

Rockingham Motor Speedway is Europes fastest banked oval racing circuit, not only does this circuit have an oval but it also has it’s own racing circuit on the inside of the oval!

Rockingham Motor Speedway opened it’s doors for the first time to motor sport on Monday 15th January 2001 and was officially opened by the Queen on 26th May 2001.

Rockingham was the first purpose built race track in the UK since Brooklands in 1907 and is built on the wasteland that was left from the British steel works from the area.

The oval circuit is 1.47 miles in length with the length of the main road course being 1.94 miles. Due to the design of Riockingham Motoro Speedway there is a total of 14 different configurations of the track dependnmg on the event that is taking place there which can be anything from touring cars to rally cars to driving experiences.
